When to Swaddle

How to Swaddle

4. Secure One Side: Take the left corner of the blanket and wrap it across your baby's chest, tucking it underneath their body. Make sure to leave the right arm free.
5. Fold the Bottom: Gently fold up the bottom of the blanket, wrapping it snugly around your little one's legs. The folded edge should be slightly above their feet.
6. Secure the Other Side: Take the right corner of the blanket and bring it across your baby's chest, ensuring it covers the folded part of the blanket. Tuck it underneath their body, leaving the left arm free.
7. Check the Fit: Ensure the swaddle is snug but not too tight. Your baby's legs should be able to move slightly, and their hips should be in a position that promotes healthy development.
8. Monitor Temperature: Take care not to overdress your baby when swaddling. Check their temperature frequently to avoid overheating.
